Dates are Set

Wow. It's been a long time since I checked in. Not too much has happened over the last four months. As most readers can guess, this trip is not a pioneering voyage of discovery. For me it will be a great adventure, but you can only prepare so much. My biggest accomplishment has been to finalize dates--I will leave Palo Alto on the 17th of July and spend the first night in Santa Monica. Then on the morning of the 18th I will depart on the first leg of my flight. My arrival in Chicago will be around July 26th. I will share details about stopovers and activities enroute in an upcoming post.
